The hardest language to learn is always the language with vowel and consonant sounds that do not regularly appear in your own language, and those where there is no formal written language and the language itself is conceptual.. I think that english is not the hardest language to learn but its one of those that got a lot of different rules joust for one simple word when i came from honduras i learn english in one year.but i think that the hardest language to learn is chinese.. Add that to the fact that chinese is a language rich in homophones and full of idioms and aphorisms picked up over the course of its long history, and mandarin becomes arguably the most difficult language in the world for an english speaker to learn..

Many people i have met (especially natives of the languages) have insisted that german, french, japanese, chinese, hungarian, spanish, italian, irish, english and many more are the hardest language in the world and been absolutely convinced of it.. I was told russian was the hardest for english people but i just started today and finding it easier than all of the others i'm learning so far. french i find difficult because of the masculine and feminine and the multiple versions of words they have and needing to use it with the correct word match for people to understand you.. Please rank 'em from 1 - 7 1 is easiest language to learn 7 is hardest language to learn please dont answer "depends on individual" i know that already i'm a filipino - can moderately speak english language and wants to learn another language...
